Sometimes when i turn the key in my car it doesnt start,... then i have to keep turning the key 2 or 3 times until it starts ( not all the time though, sometimes it starts first time with no problems) ... when it does start up, it does it fine! So Is this the immobiliser? And is it easy to sort? Any help?

If you have like a key symbol flashing up on the dash it could be the immobiliser, had this problem once or twice myself.
If its the whining sound as described above then it will be the solenoid being gay as Liam_b said.
