Just won this on ebay for £165 + I'm gona give him an extra £15 to "bad boy" it for me by welding 2 metal plates on! What you lot think?

Will defo be on by the end of Feb m8 and yeah its a custom one from this geezer on ebay, he's got loads of bonnets on there for different cars as well, nice bloke.

think I just bought the last saxo one on there at the moment m8, he had one with a F50 grill for sale the other day! I got his email address if you want it, said he can put any vent you want into the bonnet and any other custom bits like the smoothed grill or bad boy it!!!

I was just wondering something, will I lose power because the grill at the front of the bonnet is smoothed over and that's where the engine gets its air from???

Its not definate that u will lose power, but when i had my bonnet smoothed i can honestly say i felt a loss in pwer and performance, plus also the fan also cuts in alot due to not having a decent air intake!! But the air intakes in the bonnet may help!!

Thinking of smoothing an Evo scoop into bonnet what you think??????

My m8 got a evo scoop in his bonnet and it does look nice, would look better on yours though cus you got the smoothed grill as well!!!!

I had never intended on modifying my Procomp bonnet, but it started to crack around the 'mouth' so I figured I might aswell customise it. I've seen a few procomp bonnets with the smoothed off grill n didnt like it thats why I designed the cuts, plus I didnt want my fan coming on every 2 secs smileys/smiley17.gif

Another thing I've been meaning to find out is how do you open the bonnet? Cus the catch was behind the grill!!! Can you still reach it when you pop it from inside?

all u do is disable the safety catch so that when u pull the lever inside the car the bonnet will come open without having to use the catch

aye it should look good cheif. Just make sure u shut it rite, coz u dont want to b goin along the motorway and get a close up look at your bonnet as it flips up and hits your windscreen smileys/smiley5.gif

Yeah, I know someone who that happend to!!! Dented the roof as well!!!

I've been meaning to ask you for a while actually, have you done any modz to the inside of your car? Cus the outside looks well smart, was just wondering if the inside is the same???

I've got a sound sytem and boot build, but apart from that its just a set of aluminium pedals n gear knob. Got sum plans for it tho smileys/smiley2.gif

What's your boot install like? Any pics of it on here? I'm gettin mine re-built end of march begining of april cus I don't like it anymore + the subs are to big for the box so it sounds shite!!!

think its best to leave safety catch on, u can still get your hand under when released from the inside. small hands needed though!!!
