£25 to fit a tyre!
You will need it doing properly to get it balanced.
Have a word with one of the people working in a local tyre place they will probably do it cash in hand for a tenner. Don't ask at reception they will go thru the books

I paid £11 to get the wheel removed, new tyre fitted then balanced and put back on the car. That was a tyre i supplied myself.

I do plenty of them where i work and everyone is cool with a tenner, and that involves everything.

best bet is to find a local garage i.e. not kwik fit or ATS.
ask them how much for cash....
in my experience they love the cash jobs lol !!!

I got fitting from a station near me after buying tyres from mytyres... They fitted and balanced it for £10 a wheel... £25 for fitting a single tyre is outrageous!
On the other hand, unfortunately the place that fitted the tyre (and about 4 other garages - including big ones) didn't have the equipment to balance the tyres because apparently VTR alloys require a special fitment tool that they didn't have!
I rang citroen and they quited £40 inc VAT for simply balancing 2 tyres... fook that! Finally went to my local ATS and they did it for £7... Just thought i'd warn anyone with VTR alloys to check the garage has the fitment to balance them otherwise i'd suggest going somewhere that does! And preferably not citroen judging by the price i was quoted lol.

It's because some citroen and peugoet wheels don't have centre caps, they are solid and the bit you need to buy to balance them is well expensive.
