slide hammer

I need the 8mm attachment for my slide hammer to fit my torsion bar but cant seem to get one anywere ! does any one where i can get one from ?

I tried looking for one of these a while ago, but looked everywhere and thought that perhaps the actual 8mm bit was just lingo and not an actual part itself.

All you need is a M8 bolt that will go through the end of the torsion bar attachment and can be turned into the thread of the torsion bar. This does the job perfectly.

The bolt i used was one from an alternator which had a round head that fit into the slide hammer attachment and then to tighten it up into the torsion bar it has a torx T40 so doesnt need a spanner.

Ill find you a part number for it gimme 2 mins

Either of those will do the job fine, just take the washer off that comes with it.
