8 times i've been breathalised this week! 8 times!
"well sir it's christmas time and drink driving is a regular occurence"
yeh, more like you're bored and cold and need some company pal!
one thing i have noticed, they only check your car (tires etc) if you blow triple 0, must piss them off or something
definately not driving anywhere boxing or new years day, probably won't be able to get 100 metres without some copper making me freeze my bollocks of and breathe into a white box!
ahhh tis the season to be jolly!

on the bright side the traffic cops are actually doing their jobs.. I like to hear of people being pulled over. Speed cameras don't catch drunk / dangerous drivers

if you where followed, you should have reported it!!
its illegal for them to follow you without reason, and if they stopped you, you should have asked them for their police i.d...as in their badge number, and then reported it!:)
i got stopped by same peeler 3 times in 3 days last year....3rd time round, i told him i was gonna report him for harrassment, if he didnt leave me alone!
he never has stopped me again!!:)

No it's not. They have just as much right to be on the road and to drive wherever they like - if you disagree, please feel free to point out the relevant section in the Road Traffic Act.
and if they stopped you, you should have asked them for their police i.d...as in their badge number, and then reported it!:)
Reported what? That you were stopped? Being antagonistic is one sure way to have a nice long stand at the roadside while the car is checked thoroughly.

Maybe you haven't given him cause to stop you again.
If you drive a modified car, one that you want to attract attention, don't be surprised if it does exactly what you've planned for it.

To be pulled 8 times means theres something wrong with your driving or your car attracts the wrong kind of attention

i dont understand how people get pulled so much for doing nothing, iv had loads of modded cars even a nova 2 year ago and never had a problem,
i was in notts nice area and got pulled there was around 30+ copps pulling everyone on a bridge in a nice area tbh, i was thinking why dont they get that many copps park at the exit of all the crap areas and estates and pull everyone for not having insurance mot or tax theyd get alot more hits!

Was thinking the same. Or an ASW exaggeration, maybe
Do you look like a chav twoccer?
I'd be happy for the coppers to pull me and check me for DD as I never drink and drive. As Kam said at least they are doing their jobs.
Although you can't beat the look of disappointment on a particularly arsey coppers face when you blow clean:drink:

I hate coppers...when i was younger we'd all be out to a rave and it was about 5am in the morning. There was two car loads and we got stopped by 3 cop cars and a van.
The copper said "There are two types of people out at this time of the morning, milkmen and burglars and you dont look like milkmen!" Cheeky fucker! Been to a rave man, givin it shapes! :y: :afro:

Hanuman hits the nail on the head, draw attention to yourself, and you become noticed. Think very carefully and answer honestly - what was I doing that was different from the majority of other road users? Music on too loud, fart-can exhaust, loads of passengers, anything out of the ordinary will attract attention. Notts has always come down hard on drivers of modified cars.

Early morning with young drivers (especially at weekends) is a good time to catch pilled up drivers.
The study found that 17% of young drivers admitted to regularly taking cannabis, 12% owned up to taking cocaine and 10% ecstasy. More than two in five felt "fine'' to drive after drug taking. (source (http://www.nu-riskservices.co.uk/news/articles/cms/11950585892126947321004_1.htm))
Now I'd like to think that if they stop 100 people, and catch only 1 driver incapable through drink or drugs, that's one less for me to worry about.
I'm not sure what members of this site want, you ask for less speed cameras and more traffic police, and when they stop you, it's all a conspiracy. I'd just like for you to make your minds up.

i tend to be very happy to be pulled over if it takes pulling me over every day to put me off ever drinking anything and driving, or catch 1 person for every hundred pulled. but this many times in a week is overkill tbh, i've had an all clear for a drug search and have never blown more than 015 on a breathaliser, these things should be put into the databse and should come up when a copper takes my reg, displaying that i am a legitimate driver and have proved this way too many times, yes some of the time i have had my hood up cos it's freezing but most of the time i've been driving sensibly, i think it's just down to the time of night.
