PS3 Fan Boy's - Update 2.10

Today the update for 2.10 was launched by sony,

Well I had Ash round last week, and he informed me that I could stream any music, videos, pictures etc from my laptop via bluetooth. Was impressed to be honest.. I am a noob with all of this and did not know my ps3 could do that lol

Now all good, until I realised the PS3 does not play AVI/WMV files etc.. so that pissed me off.

Anyway, sony secured a deal with DivX not so long back and they have now launched it in the new update.. so I can stream all my videos/music propelly, pretty cool. PS3 gets better every update..

On the downside..

I am sick to fucking death of having to quit my games to read messages. When am i going to get my in-game messaging system? sony added a voice changer as well this update... WHY. Why not use the time and build a ingame messaging feature... something everyone wants.

Any other PS3 owners pissed off with the lack of im-game communication we have going on? Yes I am aware with home I will be able to do this.. but I don't want to have to load up a 3d world everytime I want to chat with friends and join a game.

Don't want this turning into a 360 debate please thank you.

The interaction side of the PS3 (chat and crap) was the main reason i went back to the 360.

If they sort that, not including 'home' it would make me want one again i think.

Home LOOKS good but wouldnt use it and can see it been very annoying.

Good shit the Divx thing tho, only that has been possible for a year on the 360 lol

Aye I agree, tis piss poor on sony's part, I mean what the hell are people going to do with a voice changer other than disguise they are 10 year old kids.

Did not realise 360 could do anything like that, in the same respect I never knew ps3 could stream lol, pretty noob with all of this. Never read into things enough.

Agreed about Home, it looks great.. but have been thinking if I will ever use it.. I ain't going to boot it up just to meet with friends and join a game.. thats pointless. If sony pulled there finger out and added an ingame option there would be no need too.

Also Cloud, if you whack a cd in the PS3 and listen to it there is a really cool visualisation (sp) they have added, its looking at Earth from space and the camera very slowly orbits the planet with stars etc in the background, looks awesome on my HDTV..:d

I'm soo happy with my PS3..Especially now i have it online wirelessly..(something the Xbox can't do..;))

For some reason the first 40% took ages then it went quickly afterwards, we have got 2 pc's, an Xbox 360 and PS3 on the broadband though..:P

Will get COD next i think..:d
