Ahhhh really going through a hard time at the moment...

I have spent the last 3 months totally building one of the maddest saxo interiors EVER.

The car is due into the bodyshop on Sunday and im having second thought....

Its going to cost me over 10g's to get it to the right standard....and that's not including Insurance.

Is it really worth it? I would only keep it for a feature and the major shows....

I would prob loose about 4-5 grand! But it would push my new company forward and generate a good name....

I LOVE this car and wish i could just do this and be happy!

PLEASE HELP ME!!! TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!

Thanks

Win the lottery, that would help.

Other than that its entirely upto you. Would you be happy spending that sort of money on a car? If so do it, if not then don't. All i will say is we're only on this planet once so we may as well do our best to enjoy it..... if you wanna build a mad saxo then go for it.

a lot of money mate !

i think of it as if you think ur gonna loose like 4-5Gs on it then thats gonna even out how much profit you may make on your business ?

At the end of the day we don't modd our Saxos to make money off them, you'll spend far more money modding your Saxo than you'll sell it for down the line. I mod mine to make it stand out from all of the other 100,000's of Saxo's on the road.

would it maybe be easyer to buld a show car and buy a old 4x4.... and trailerso you don't pay insurance and you have to saxo in the trailer to all the shows! but no one will be the old 4x4 because you'll be getting the saxo out the back before the gates are open to everyone to see!

Still have to have insurance even if not driving the car Alex, As what if someone damages it. How you going to get it repaired LOL

I agree, love rays car aswell.
Chris, I'd stick with it.
As you say, 'madest saxo'. That is going to be awesome mate. And like you say,it will promote your company.
So what if you lose 4/5k on it. Don't you think it will be worth it , to bring an income in through the company. After a while , you won't even notice that loss if your business is successful. smileys/smiley17.gif

WTF - adam?

chris. your car will be one off. no one will ever make one like it again, and if they do, they'll have the ideas from u. i can't stand to be the same or similar to peeps, and it drives me. I haven't done much to the car but i've made it different i'm talking about life.

The sax will be a gateway for you and pride will be a t stake. If you've got 10k, it's meant for that sax mate, nothing else, not a holiday, not a house, not a fine woman. you'll get all of those in time, the sax is now.

in case you need it spelt out. do it fella

dude reread the shit u post b4 u post it!! that doesnt make sense!!!

Chris, its a bit of a dilema but u have always wanted to do it so its a tough call to make, you will find most people who seriously mod there cars probs have last min doubts before they put it into the body shop!

IMO it's totally stupid to spend that much money modding a car at that age. Trust me, you will regret it one day.
