Jonesy you should do a lil tutorial on how to make angles of the wheels perfect :P
i.e if the rim is facing a different angle from the car how do you make it fit

lol maybe, although i would say just get alloys that are the same, or almost the same angle, makes life a hell of a lot easier and looks realistic

Well you need to cut the main segment of the alloy first, on a seperate layer. Then cut the segments between the spokes, leaving it transparent.
The apply it to your image (still on a different layer). Free transform it, and resize it first, then right click, and click distort. Making sure the center remains the center of the original alloy. I like to reduce the opaquness of the alloy your putting on, so you can line it up properly too.
Hopefully, if you line it up right, you shuld have calipers from your car ect.
BUT, its hard to do if the alloys (like on your pic) are bigger than the ones your putting on, because your just going to see old alloy behind the new. Then you need to start blending bits in and It takes age.
Easiest way is to (like jonsey said) find one already on a car, and if need be, tone down the caliper colours, and disc shinyness, to make it look like what you have already :)
