I feel so lucky

From this day on I will never say "All cops are tossers", as this clearly is not the case. On my way home from a cruise on sunday night i got followed for about a mile and a half off a cop van. I knew my brake light was off as well cos its been playing up. Also because of the winter i took the black wheels off and put the vtr wheeels bak on but forgot to check the tyres. I got pulled over and he told me about my brakelight. I pretended to be totaly unaware of this and was really polite(for a change). He then asked me to turn the wheels to have a look at the tyres which i knew were running low but me and me mates were saying that very night that ill have to get em changed because you get three points for every bald tyre you have. Now i have only been drivin just over a year so im in the 6 points and a 2 years ban region. So i did as the cop said and he looked at my tyres. He looked at me and said"Do you know what these are"? He was pointin at the tyre indicators. I said no and he told me that they are tyre wear indicators. The tyres were almost totally bald. I was shitting myself. I pretended to be a total novice and he said " You could have got a fucking twat of a copper pull you up, but im not a twat so ill let you off." I was fucking chuffed. He took me in the van, said nothin about the tyres to his copper mates and gave me a producer for the light which has now been sorted, and i changed the tyres the next day. smileys/smiley4.gifsmileys/smiley4.gifsmileys/smiley4.gif I'm lucky. I could have been lookin at a £120 fine, 6 points, going to court and being band for 2 years. Thankyou Mr. Policeman, you rock.

that sounds similar when to the copper that pulled me a couple of weeks ago. he caught me pulling out of tesco wheel spinning to fuck and got me to get in the car whilst another looked around my car. they were going to do me for driving without due care and for 2 bald tyres £280 fine and 12 points and i can only get 6pts until june. But when i showed him my driving license he seen it was my birthday the week before and said Happy Birthday Mate its your lucky day off you go! i was sooooo fucking lucky!

There are a few safe 1s out there. Bt normally if ur polite 2 them then theyll b polite 2 u, well shud b!!! I no its nt always the case tho.

I got pulled the other day for not wearing a seat belt and the copper was gona sting me with a £30 fine, he went and got all the paper work from the boot of his car but before he had a chance to write it out an urgent call came over his radio, so he said "it's your lucky day" but the best bit was, he jumped straight back into his car, span off down the road and forgot to shut his boot and loads of traffic cones and signs fell out the back!!! I was pissin my self!!!!!

i got pulled the other nite as i pulled off from a set off lights a bit 2 quick but didnt realise there was a police (astra van) behind me!he sat behind me for nearly 5 minutes and just as i was about to pull away from another set of lights he flashed his headlights and pointed to the side of the road!so i pulled over!

he'd pulled me for pulling away 2 fast and then he noticed i dnt have a light on my number plate! he said if i see u again without the light it'll b a ticket next time!

most of the coppers i have come accross seem to be ok if u just co-operate with them. obviously there are a few tossers out there! u guys all seemed to be quite lucky. i was in a m8s car going round the 1 way system when he decided it would be fun to take the corner sideways! trouble was is that there was a copper sitting at the lights and saw the whole thing! he pulled us over straight away and gave him the biggest bollocking i have ever seen! but thats it! no points, no fine! he was the luckiest bastard ever! lol
