Polo 16v or VTR?

Looking at getting a new car did look at getting a vts but thought i would save my money and have something that i am happy to look to at than something that goes quick. So i came to this problem i was thinking get a nice 51 plate vtr but then looking at my mates polo i think its looks so sexy and want one. I dont really know what to go for.

Any Ideas

I do like the polos the way that people do them up. And also the respect you get throughout the car world for having a dub :y: whereas if people see a saxo done up they think chav :n: which most aint. My mates have had 9 vw between them and nothing has gone wrong. It would also be fun to go down to donny south and gti international in a mini dub convoy lol as my mates taking his car down the stip at both look out for it if you are planning on goin this year

then get a polo mate :y: as you said, saxo's are seen as chav cars, polo are seen as a VW, and VW's demand respect....

I like my VTR but tbh honish i would get a polo GTI because they look good, fair amount of power and the build qulity will be far better than that of a VTR. Hope this helps :y:

Similar performance to a VTS (125bhp but a bit heavier). More tuning potential
with the VWs I imagine?

But I doubt its as raw and aggressive as a Saxo VTS. Which is why Id rather
go for French.

whats you budget? Jon here at Kam will be selling his Polo gti in Jan as he's after a Lupo. I think its a four door though but it still looks really good and drives well, its a nice engine (sounds great with BMC CDA), handling is not as sharp as a saxo but its still entertaining. Its the facelift mk3 with the xenon headlights
