I got into my saxo this morning, and i was greeted with a wee puddle at my feet!
Its been damp before, but it is actually a puddle now, lol
I looked over to the passenger footwell, and oh, another puddle!:n:
Its obviously from under the carpet, any ideas of what to dooo? :(

Find the leak?
Mines started leaking recently but I know where its coming from. Its the sunroof rubber seal, came off and needs resealing. However it leaks where the sunroof handle is and isnt major, just drops of water fall now and again. :n:
My mates saxo has a leak like yours tho, her footwells were like ponds at one point, someone broke her ariel base and the water came in through there.

haha strange... my friend also had the same problem with the ariel which caused leaks in the car, and i also have the same problem with the sunroof leak causing dripps from the handle.
I thought it was just the condensation building up on the sun roof then dripping as i drove :-s you got me worried now!! gonna have to get it checked now!

Right, I just got home, checked, and under the carpet is bone dry, so it means its coming from somewhere else, and dripping on both driver and passenger sides :(
How hard is it to take the dash out?

mine does this, i think its my sunroof which leaks, then it gets to the footwells by running under the lining at the top of the windscreen and down the door pillars, under the dash and into the footwells. but it could be anything.....

i think it could be the aerial base leaking or the sunroof common thing on cars it is.

Thanks to all,
ive set bowls up in my car, to hopefully catch this damn thing
also got a bin liner on my sunroof, and paper towels around the car, im gonna find where this damn water is coming from :p
I checked the sunroof though, the seal around, just under the glass is green and some of it has come loose round the edges
reckon thats the problem?

Could well be. Suppose one good thing might happen now though, with it being so damn cold that the water may freeze where its leaking from and stop leaking for a bit lol. :y:

I checked my car this morning and there were no puddles, still a tad damp from yesterday though!
It must be the sunroof then, im gonna have to bin liner it everynight now until i can get it fixed!
How much is the repair?
Do you have to replace just the seal?
Cheers:y:

I went to a garage close to me and he said for a new seal on sunroof it will cost me £25, but he said that I might not need a new one, the old one might just need popping back in and sealing. :y:

Ive put some black electrians tape round the corners of the sunroof pushing the seal down again. I will have a look and see what happens tomorrow!
Its doing my head in, the car stinks of damp!

my 106 was leaking from the rear lights. Running along the corner of the boot on to the back seat. once that was saturated it started dripping on to the floor and formed puddles. maybe this will help :y:
