along with my car not starting i have also noticed my inside blower fan and rear demister r not working and thru a freak accident noticrd that wen i disconnected the small red wire from altenator wow both work any ideas or suggestions:bored: :bored:

The heaters and rear demister dont work untill the car is started. This is just a feature of the saxo's

Yeah your alternators up the duff.

Mine was the same, battery light was on all the while when running, but then my power steering wouldnt work, nor my heated rear screen and heater blowers.

Disconected the wires to my alternator and bobs your uncle, you guessed it, everything worked, except the battery charging lol.

So answer to your question is, get a new or 2nd hand alternator.
