i have had a set of koni inserts fitted to the front of the vts and the shocks at the rear. the adjustment is equally set.

the front drivers side knocks and bangs like hell, i have been told that it will need a spacer fitting over the insert to allow the collar nut to tighten up the insert.

any one had this problem before??

i didnt have any spacers so i am going to use a big washer that i have adapted.

anyone had this before?

one side is ok, the other side isnt lol

cheers

you get nylon spacers in with the kit for this reason. some cars need them some dont.

i had these nylon spacers when i took my struts apart, i wondered what they did( i bought the car like it).

i think the adjustablility is almost usless, youve got to take them off the car, fully compress the shock and turn it. problem is when you put them to rock hard you have the strougle like fuck to pull the damper out so you can fit the spring. i dont like it :(

one side is fine, other bangs like fuck, its only a tiny bit by hand, but you can feel it and hear it when driving.

anyone have any spare spacers?? ;)

last time i heard of this was on a friends car.
it turned out the insert was fubar, the seal had gone and had uncompressed.

i changed them for vts inserts in the end, was fine after.
