Would this be okay?
and is it okay to block off the 'red circled' pipe? (the one with tempory sellotape on ;) )
i can't see no reason why not, just thought i'd check though.

Why would you want to block it off? If the pipe is old just get some cheap silcone from ebay. With regards to taking it off, im not 100% but I would have thought it could be fine. Although you need to allow it to breath

because the old pipe was perished and snapped, so i saw a piper cheap.. not another connector on it to attach the circled pipe.. so i stuck a breather on the rocker cover, not theres the little black pipe that has no home...

get a hold of the proper piping and fit it properly :y:

it has been fitted properly?
its just my little black pipe :( im worried for its well being.
to be honest, im not expecting any performance gains, just easier than going to a scrappy, im not even sure they are open?
anyway, back to the breather and pipe...

the pipe is there for a reason, and if the tape gets too hot, wont it just melt?

as is the rest of the air filter housing.
thats where the pipe normally is, just that it is now blocked.
Took it around the block and it seems fine, on my old 1.1 the were 2 pipes from the throttle body that went to the air box, i removed them and that was fine so im going to leave it, ill get a proper connector after christmas for piece of mind.

the tube going to the elbow off the throttle body, is that the right one? pretty sure thats meant to come off the rocker cover to the elbow after the filter.

its the green circled pipe..
you can easily see where it goe's to, on the pic i posted originally (first post) its joins the throttle body..
regards to the large pipe going to the actual filter, that's where the manual says it should go to, it only went to the top of the original airbox anyway..
why is it the most simplest of things with saxo's that are the most annoying!
thanks for the reply so far ! :)

your manual is wrong! lmao
that piper you have attached to the throttle bodie pipe take off completely then, get rid of that shitty breather filter, go to shitroen get the proper pipe from throttle boddie to breather hole on roker and from there to elbow off throttle bodie then you will have succeded.

yeah, but in that pic all the pipes are okay, like i said in my earlier post, a pipe had perished and snapped... therefore i cannot connect them... so ive got a 'breather' on the rocker cover.
its not hard to do when you have the pipes intact..
im going to leave it and nip down citroen after christmas.

that breather pipe from inlet manifold controls manifold pressure so blocking over could blow a hole in your manifold as pressure cant be released into the rocker area... and the tape could be left there it wont melt you dont run a stove under your bonnet do you... :) ... if so you are ok. get a replacement pipe..about 2-5pound form scrappy and two seconds to replace.
