is it really that cheap, just got a quote for me on a 2003 vtr, im 18 i did put my dad on there and it come up with 688.20. is that right?

Should be, I insured my first car on there for £800 fully comp with no NCB or anything.

If it's all true, go for it mate.
Can't beat that. I'm with Bell at the moment, paying £1030 on a 2.0 Ford Focus with 2yrs NCB.

dont think that quote will be right tbh, something somewhere will be wrong as noone gets insurance that cheap just after passing, unless its on his dads name..

i have 4 claims and they quoted me £1200. i was laughing!
was paying £2600 last year with 3 claims :panic:

If its your names with your dad as a named driver..
im the main driver and put my dad and grandad as named drivers... dropped it loads!

Must admit i do like elephant, decent on the phone, use them for both my MR2 and my Volvo workhorse and they gave good discount for second cars and good rates for them too :)

Gotta be extra careful with insurance. Those prices do seem rather cheap but the excess may be sky high. Also if you add your dad as the main driver and you as the named then you may get a surprise if you need to claim. If you are the MAIN and Regular driver then you MUST put this. It may seem like a good idea to say your dad/mum/brother/dog drives the car mainly but your insurance company are likely to refuse cover/payment if they find out they YOU are the main driver.
