Helloooo.
Has anyone ever done a flush of their power steering fluid? Mine's really low, and since it's never been changed, I thought it might be better to do a complete flush of the system rather than just top it up. I've got no idea what's involved...

un clip the hose from the resivior? let it empty itself.
re fil?
should be simple, but things never are

got it in one, do not run the engine when doing this as you will knaker your pump, seems obviouse and you prob knew that but to be safe.

It's really as easy as that? Won't that still leave fluid in the system?

take the hose off, let the fluid run out. put new fluid in but dont fill the system completely. Start the car and turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times to get the fluid throught the system, then empty again. Refill completely with new fluid. Job done.
