Nay, not a believer in the whole church thang for a lot of reasons, but my views on it are pretty much summed up by that story in the bible where God destroys a guys life by killing his crops and family and so on to prove a point to the devil that people worship him. If someone in 'real life' did that theyd be seen as a tosser, not praised by millions. I can see that religion brings peace to some people and helps them through their lives and thats great for them but so much of it is bullshit. Christmas isnt Christmas to most its Xmas, its commercial. My two pence.

Grandparents always want me to go to midnight mass, but I can't be bothered with it to be honest as I'm a catholic.

Think I went one year though....but it's a waste of time...would love to know why I was christened catholic...!

Yeah shame really, all the magic has gone from christmas, all it seems to do is put pressure on people to spend money they have'nt got?

I'm defo not going! The last time I remember going to church was when my gran turned 100 and something :err: in Newcastle.

It's fair enough if religious people wanna go but not for me, don't get all the hype tbh.

I go to church (i say go, first time ever last xmas, and 2nd tomoro), but not for the religious side of it, just to go to the graveyard to see my mate.

an old mate of mine was never allowed to open xmas prezzies till after the queens speech either.
