single wiper not sitting right

managed to get my single wiper conversion kit on, but the bottom half of the wiper doesnt seem to touch the window, any ideas?

Dont suppose you have any pics? Is the wiper blade the right way round? Is the mechanism all fitted correctly and the full sweep working ok?

no, its only when its sweeping it doesnt touch the bottom. its fitted right and sweeps fine. i will check if its the right way round, also the spindal has a bit of play up and down, would that affect it?

If the spindle has a bit of play then that might effect the blade position once its moving. Is there anyway you can see of tightening the spindle up?
