when im stationary and i turn the wheel slightly to the right (around 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock) i get a creaking, grinding noise. i got a mate to turn the wheel with the bonnet up as it sounded like it was coming from the engine bay but it actually sounds like the passenger wheel area. any ideas what it maybe? ive had a lot of problems with the suspension this side and EVERYTHING has been replaced but now the steering goes heavy too. help greatly appreciated. :)

Could it be the wheel rubbing on the arch??

As already mentioned, it's very likely still the top mounts. It could also be the springs. Best thing to do, is keep investigating where you think the noise is actually coming from. If it's dead centre of the engine bay, it could be a problem with your steering rack.
