power stering gone again

i have had the saxo just under a year now and 4 months ago the power stering moter went got a new 1 had it fitted by a lad who has worked on saxos 9 years,
went to work this morning and it was fine then finished work and set off to go home and it was like driving a tank is this a comon problm any idea on what else it could be

when you say driving a tank you mean the steering is heavy?

yes very heavy
cant see y i have gone though two pumps in 10 months
and this one has only done 2000 miles tops

sounds to meeee like there is aproblem with a hose quite possibly a blockage or a crease in a hose putting unneccesary pressure on the pump to do the same job....

it dose mate will have the hosing checked out

good luck mate sounds like hoses or wrong fluid? maybe water in the fluid? altho that shudnt do it. also check other electrics could be a fuse or circuit mate see if anything else has gone...
