Raceland or BMC enclosed induction kit is the best bet for power gains

none!
whack a panel filter in, green cotton etc..
ive tried a couple now and have always gone back to standerd, the noise made it 'feel' it was performing better, then i put the standerd air box on and it felt so much better.
Only mod to it i have done is block off the 'oil vapour circulation' pipe from the inlet manifold and stuck a breather on the rocker cover.

An air filter wont make it "faster".
However, it can help contribute and bring out the best in any other mods you have done.
