Hi,
Crashed my car on the weekend (Saxo Furio) and the arm coming off of the shock absorber is bent?
What would i need to replace this, would it simply be a new shock absorber?
If so were would be the best place to get this and roughly how much?
I also need mk2 headlight, offside arch inner liner, mk2 front bumper, and VT kit arch. If any of you have/know of anyone with any of these for sale?
My cars wicked red in colour, but anything will do as ill have to get it all sprayed.
Thanks for all your help in advance

new shock deffo.
if the shock is bent though the strut also stands a high chance of bing bent.
std shocks are not to pricey.

if the strut isnt bent then obviously no need, i cant tell obviously just from talking, but id get it checked as in order for the shock to be bent i wouldnt expect the strut to have been left unharmed.
£60 a wheel is alot.

actually re reading it, arm coming off of the shock would probably be the track rod, which is the steering rack basically.
you would need a new one if bent as the car wont turn properly if its bent

To cut a long story short i was at my girlfriends in Doncaster, and had a bump. Her dads a mechanic and took it to the garage he works at and checked it over, he said the shock absorber was bent.
But as hes up there and i havent got a clue what any of this is, i thought id ask you lot. haha!
So cheers Ryan, ill get looking for a new shock then.
Just out of interest if i got one from say a VTR or VTS would it fit my Furio without having to change anything else?
And also if i got a new wing, or bumper from a VTR/VTS would that fit my Furio?
Cheers again everybody

vtr/vts is same cosmetically as a furio. so will fit easy.
shocks should be the same but not 100% sure due to it not being a sport model.

I think the Furio's share the same dampers etc..
Its all the same apart from the engines and a couple of other little things..

If that link works it shows the TU3JP model Saxo and the VTS share the same shock and strut..

I was thinking cause i wanted to lower my car, and ive now got to replace whatevers F***** on my car.
Could i just replace my suspension, strut shock absorber thing with these and make it right, whilst lowering it at the same time?

Or am i totally wrong and have proved i havent got a clue?
