Hi. does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to lower my vtr 40mm on springs, using the existing dampers?
I have just had my tracking done, would i have to have it done again onece the springs are on?
Are g-max springs any good?

gmax springs are known to be very inaccurate in their lowering amount status if I remember correctly.
Lowering will cost anywhere between £120 and £200 really..
Best bet is to give your local lowering companies a ring and find out.

These are figures estimated from the garage we use in Nottingham. Please contact us if you are from around Notts/Derby area and need anything sorting.
£40 fo fit a car with 2 springs at the front.
£80 to fit a car with 4 springs, 2 front and 2 back.
£140 to fit a car with 2 springs front and lower torsion bar back to match drop.
I would say down south i can imagine these prices are more expensive.
As a retailer of G-Max we havnt seen to many problems with the G-Max springs, its the G-Max shocks that to be honest we WARN all our customers away from them and to Spax or something better.
This is basically because the G-Max shocks have a HUGE come back rate for braking, leaking etc.
The Spax VSX kit is only £20 more i think (not in office so cant confirm that, but a better kit)
