just had a look at these, and seem very good value, noticed there is a:

t1-r and also a t1-s whats the diference?

Toyo proxes are good value for sure. T1-R's i believe have extra grooves round the edge of the tyres, so should be slightly better in the wet then the t1-S'.

If you've got money to burn though go for some Michelin Pilot Exalto 2's!

i have proxy t1-s they are exceptionally good in the wet but you have to have the balls to put it into the bend a bit quicker to get the cars weight shifted, i find if i go too carefully once they are worn in they a bit slippery due to the saxo being so light.

the t1-r i thought had the extra grooves for improved dry handling. although best tires iv'e ever used are the eagle f1's not cheap but outragously grippy!

mytyres were shite for me. Had all sorts of problems. They couldnt process my payment so i had to keep using different cards when theyre all fine and i use them all the time. And then when i cancelled my order they sent them. And all their call operatives are Indian and very poorly trained in English.

You can't get T1-R or S for the VTR rims... But you can get the Proxes CF-1 i think.

I got spme kuhmo ecstas at the minute, when they wear oout, i'm going to get some yokohama paradas spec 1. I don't like the toyos because i feel they are a waste of money because they are made of a softer compound so they give you more grip, but they wear out really easily.

How are the yoko a539's for wet handling?

I'm gunna be due for a new set on my VTR rims soon as well (~ 2-3 month)

Looking at the Michelin Pilot Exalto's the Yoko a539's or maybe the continental contact sport.

I really want something that handles very well in the dry and has got good wet handling as well :)

had yokohama a539's tyres on my old furio alloys wasn't overally impressed with them, much prefer michellin pilots or toyo t1-r's.

i use pirelli P-zero-nero i use to have toyo on the front they were poor perfomance compared to my pirelli's IMO, but then pirelli is about 20 quid more than toyo T1-R's
