went into halfords on boxing day to order my alloys ive been wanting for agees..got them fine..tsw catalunya 15s, boy said thats fine sir they will be ready for you on the 2nd.

Hmmm ok not enough money, is a big fat lie tbh. Even if they don't have the money now they are bound to have a system of which they can retrieve the money. We have the same sort of policy where i work. I do the accounting for said place and we always have enough money in the safe to refund the said person. At the end of the day business'/companies are after retrieving money.

Don't be a push over mate, go back and demand that by law they should have the money. Maybe the person on customer services/returns doesn't have the money, but I gaurentee it's in the safe. And knowing Halfrauds they'll have a lot more money than the company I work for inside their safe!

i got 15'' team dynamic pro race 2's with toyo proxy-s tyres for 780 euro which would be about 500 pound which i thought was good

for 430 wasnt 2 bad...


had a change of mind now anyways going to get vts rims powder coated black in equal-save money and still have nice rims :)

I buckled one of my alloys when I had a set of Wolfrace Ikon plus things.
Went to Halfrauds and ordered a new one, I was pretty flush at the time so I thought the £185 for 1 wheel wih tyre was ok. They said it will take 2 weeks to come from Wolfrace.....



.......5 Months later and after various complaints and phone calls to Halfords managers I finally got my sodding wheel!!
The trouble is no one stays at Halfords for long, The boy who ordered my wheels left 1 week later, another one took it over a few weeks on after I complained, he left not long after. I ended up doing half the work to get it myself!
I hate Halfrauds now and never buy anything expensive from them ever!!

lol i went to halfords to get my alloys but after talking to the 15 year old on the counter i decided to go to a high street shop, was realli nice guy, the shop wasnt busy so he rumbled on for about 30 mins about different types of alloys and what not and the alloys and tyres was ready te next day just like he told me. :y:

moral of the story... hmm i think dont go to halfords? :p

sometimes its the suppliers fault. For example we have a back order for some strut braces from one popular and they haven't supplied any since November

Certain induction kits for the 106 haven't been available for 8 months also!

Halfords tools do last well though must admit.. Wouldn't buy much else from there.
