How annoying are banks!
i changed my direct details for all of my direct debits at the beginning of december (rent phone bill insurance etc)
check with the companies that my details had been changed when i last got paid and they said yes its fine
with today being the main 1st working day after xmas and new year my direct debits have all gone out
but not out of the right account and i had insufficient funds available for all the direct debits, so they have all bounced
brilliant when im trying to sort a credit rating out
and ever better ive been charged £38 bank charge for each direct debit so thats £152 in bank charges
spoke to the bank who confirmed that the direct debits should of come out of my new account i have with them and not the old one. i told them i want the £152 crediting back as it was their error that it came out wrongly, they were like erm well, i said erm well nothing you stuffed up you refund my charges, think lad was bit scared and raised the credit for me so all sorted
