all the new grime is shit tbh, loads better before it became so popular, i think its now sounding more unprofessional than what it did do. And the mainstream atists that everybody knows like dizzee and kano dont quite make a grimey sound anymore.

anything before 2004 was great and around the time of roll deep releasing "in at the deep end"

the only decent artist i think there is in the grime scene now is ghetto, though i wouldnt even call his genre grime more UK hip hop.

gimme some sub-low jon-e-cash and some old skool wiley, dizzee adn roll deep tunes n am happy :y:

also i think the chavs have killed it, sincce they got their hands on it, it died and everybody knew of it and wiley continuously using the same lyrics which i still hear him spit today on fresh tracks, he also spoilt it.

i agree 100%....grime has become so mainstream...walk down the street and you see 10yr olds wear a boy better know t-shirt...

im more of a fan of UK Hip Hop now if u can call it that...

Example, Professor Green...Skinnyman, they all make great music..

on the grime side...chipmunk is a good young talent

yee pro green is a good artist and i havnt always rated skinny man but i heard his track called "smoking ban" rinsing it loads lol i love it.

One of the best up and coming artists imo is Frisco, his last 2 mixtapes were great
