ive got a 98 vts and ive found a guy on ebay selling a passenger side driveshaft for a vts but its off a 51 plate vts. does it make a difference wether its off a mark 1 or mark 2 and will it work spot on or is there even a difference????

it can be different from the same year mate. think most are the it just depends on the bit that meets the bearings as they can differ

yea because if you get one that doesnt meet the bearing perfect the wheel bearing goes constantly doesnt it. what would you do if you needed a new driveshaft because your vts is the same ish to mine havent ya?

A quick way to check is compare the hub nuts as the early shafts (flat) have a short nut and the later (tapered) have a long nut.
