My name is Tom, I'm 22 years old and I come from Luxembourg (Europe)
and I drive a silver Citroen Saxo VTS 1.4L Furio from 2001.

The car had 110 000 km when I bought it and since I have done a lot of modofications to it.

I have also bought a new alarm system which I fitted myself into the car.

- 1x Sirene
- 1x Shock sensor
- 1x Microwave sensor
- 1x LED
- 2x Remotes
- 1x Window Close Up System

I also removed the door pins and replaced them by some custom made caps and an alarm LED.

Then I found an universal center console which I fitted into the car. I covered the interior with
black carpet and color coded the cap. Now its more confortable to drive :-)

some good progress mate, not to keen on lexus lights, smoked jewels would go better with your colour car.

I found some LED plates in my garage and I decided to fit them into the doors of my car as security lights.
I took some rubber pieces, cut them in form and placed inside the LED plates.
Then I fixed them with glue behind the door handles, covered them with silicone and connected them to the interior light so that they
light up when the door is opened and stops when the door is closed.

Yes it's custom made. The whole boot is sound
deaded and covered with carpet.
And I think it looks good and also the sound is very good :)

Hi everybody,

I got a little update on my saxo.
Last week I went to a Seat Garage an bought an Ibiza spliter from the Seat Ibiza Cupra 1998.
Then I also bought an grill that I painted silver and fitted to the spliter.
I painted the spliter and also repainted the plastic part of the rear bumper black.
Then I glued and screwed the Spliter to the rear bumper and the result is amazing.

A little update from saxo.
Last week I bought an universal remote key from ebay. It should work with my alarmsystem because its universal.
But I couldnt program it. Just my two original remotes that were with my alarmsystem worked.
So then I had the idea to implant one of the original circuit board of my remote control
from my alarmsystem into the remote key. After playing around with it I finally managed it to install it corectlly :-)
Then after a bit of sanding and color it loked well and I was happy.

Well I got some updates from my saxo.


After I had an accident with my saxo I had to change the front bumper.

One night when I was driving back home, it rained heavy and the steets were slick,
I entered in a roud about with 40 km/h and the car started to drift. I tried to break an to pilot
but the car drifted straight. So I fist hit the curbstone, spang over and hit a storm lamp.
I droped out of the car to see the damage. The tyre was plat and the alloy was damaged,
the front light was broken, the fender was damaged and the front bumper was broken.


The assurance would not cower this an so I dcided to repair it myself.
I bought an used front bumper an the fender from a friend, bought a new front light and started
to repair my car.

I decided to modify the front bumper. I cut a wide mouf into the front bumper.
Then i primed it, painted the pieces in gloss black an brought the bumper ant the fender
to the body work.

The result of the dyno test is 89hp an the car is in a great condition.

Hey,

Last week I sercherd on the internet for a module that automaticly switches on the front lights
when you enter a tunnel or when it's dark outside. But instead I found something better that
impressioned me alot.

On the site http://www.daylightrunning.de/index.html I found a daylight running module for the fuse box.

This module controls the low beam lights an switch them on after you have started the engine.
(But just the two front lights). You can change the efficacy of the front lights between 20 % and 100%.

This module also has a leaving/coming home function :

Leaving Home : When you open your car with the remote control the front lights starts glowing for 20 seconds. (The time is programmable)

Coming Home : When you stop the engine and turn the lights off the front lights starts glowing for 30 seconds. (The time is programmable)


The module contains two fuse adapters, a red wire which connects them and a black wire.

The installation is verry simple, just plug and play. You must take the first fuse out of its place
and stick it into the first adapter. The you stick this adapter with the fuse in it into the free place.
You do the same with the other adapter.
If you want to use the leaving home function you need to connect the black wire to the positive cable of
one indicator light.

Hey guys, Its a long time since I have posted some news of my car.

But this time I got some bad news. Last week someone crashed into the side of my car right in front of my house :err:

The guy of the insurance told me that the whole right side must be repainted. So I decided to paint the black plastic strips all around the car black.

Now the car is in the bodyshop and I bought some smoked headlights and indicater lights then I modified my fog light with oven cleaner.

I used the oven cleaner to remove the chrome paint from the interior of the fog light so that the surface becomes black.

Its verry difficult to find black fog light so I decided to do itmyself.
Instead of removing the glas an painting the interior black I used the owen cleaner. It takes 1 hour to do it and the result is the same ;)

Like the rear splitter etc looks good! but rear lights and de wiper :P also your rear wheels have loads of camber lol

it is a normal black with clear varnish nothing special :P

no I used the oven cleaner just for the fog lights because you cant buy black fog ight, they dont exist
so instead of removing the glas and painting them black I used the oven cleaner. So you just need one hour to do it instead of one day and you dont have the problem with the glue the paint ;)

for the headlights, they are new because thy were on sale :p

I have the furio interior so in the back I dont have these plastic parts. Therfore I pasted the carpet directly on the chassis.

no it wasnt hard, you need just someone to help you because the carpes is wide and to paste it right you need some help ;)

You take the owen cleaner and you spray it into the fog light. The owen cleaner removes all the chrome paint inside the fog light. This take an half hour and than you just need to wash the thing of. Done!

Otherwise you must remove the glas, take the inners out, sand them of and paint them black.
