I know there's been a few people on here having problems with Live over the christmas period. This has been due to the massive increase in people online and it seems like Microsoft haven't been able to cope.

As way of compensation they are saying everyone will be able to download a free XBL arcade game at some point in the next few weeks.

Probably be one of the older ones but at least its something.

Yeah it is good of them.
But it says up to £10 a game, I am sure everyone would prefer £10 worth of the live point thingies to spend on what we choose.

To be honest, it has been really slow for me over xmas, and if you can't play online then properly then what am I paying 40 quid a year for.

Free game is the least they can do

they could have been pricks and just said nothing about it.

...agreed theyve taken an action, thats good,
but theyve not solved/solving the initial problem.

Its like me saying,
"Robb, youve got no gas for the rest of January, but heres a bag of Haribo for your troubles."
