why is it such a fknnnn nightmare,
im selling mine which you would be hardpushed to find a better cond one with low miles and price ect,
anyhow had someone ring about 45mins drive away said they would come down today as her son had wrote his off so wanted another vtr, i said call me when you set off so i know your coming but ill pop out of work anyways,
i go home early wait for them,,,, nothing, all the sudden an older women and man around 50s are walking around the car i get up thinking well are they gonna knock or ring me.... nothing they get in the car drive off
pished me off sooooo much theres only 1 lil scratch on the door so theres nothing or reason that would justify driving all that way to walk around it for 2 mins then drive off. if they wernt happy with something (cant see what) then you ask about it and ask for money off what a waste of my time and there own time fkn nob heads rant over
p.s why do people think the forsale price automatically means you will get at least %20 off. when i buy a car i try my luck to get it cheaper but if i want it ill pay the price not go in with no intention of ever wanting to pay the price (unless i tell them that on the phone)

Its called 'dealing' and thats why car dealers are sneaky fucking russians with hearts of steel.
I hate it.

i cant stand the stresss of selling a car, people calling with no intention of turning up (dont FKN ACT LIKE YOU WILL)
people wanting 50% off
people claiming there is things wrong with it,
cant wait for the next nob head to try something daft tbh

Haha last car I sold was my old VTR. I never even met the buyer!! I put it in the Autotrader and he rang the next day wanting to see it. I was at work so my mam dealt with that. Then He rang me telling me it was the best he'd seen and he'd been to see 6! Offered me £100 under the asking price. I accepted he paid and took the car. My mam dealt with the whole lot haha.

I liked buying my car, 200 mile trip to woking on the train to see it. Saw it, came..... twice.
Handed over the cash and took it.

Tis why you list a car at more than you'd want for, so if they haggle, they feel like they are getting a bargain!!

Just looked at the advert for your car mate and it seems like a good price. Cant see why its so hard to sell. Modified cars are generaly harder to sell as people think they have been ragged but yours is standard so tis a bit wierd.
Someone will buy it in the end but may take some time. If you need to get rid of it asap then you may want to bite the bullet and drop the price unfortunately.

i had trouble selling my old white 1.1 saxo....sold it in the end though
i can imagine that situation Hanuman would be very annoying....especially if they travel 45mins to look at the car for 10 mins
some people are just strange

simple mate, DONT advertise on here you wont have much luck, most people ave a car on the forum, put it on autotrader. take off the grille put that back to standard, take of the halfords looking petrol cap, put it up for sale at 1700 and that should sell within a week
best thing to do is on autotrader compare it to cars of age / mileage and price it accordingly looks clean but if u wanna sell it take of the grille petrol cap and saxp stickers
