Right my exhaust keeps riseing up and melting my bumper... we dont know whats making it keep riseing up... but its melting the foook out of my bumper
i will post pics up to help you
what can i do/use to fix this problem?

Probably the wrong mounts had been fitted causing a strain on the exhaust

atm trying to phone garage to get it booked in to get it re welded atm and sorted out so it stops raising up and melting bumper + a exstention so it looks better

doesent help me forceing it down so it sits ok when its roasting hot with my shoe lol...

ach well
30 quid for it to be rewelded exstended and so it sits fine again :D

same noise lol as the pipe is still into the backbox as you can see in the pic :)
not gona buy anything off ebay...
ill buy a proper one and a newish one from some one off here in a few weeks/months time

as said get a some new rubber mounts and miht be ok, its actually way to big anyway, get a nice 3 inch one :)

its a heap tbh mate, get a proper system or a actual built backbox for the car, custom stuff is genraly shit if they dont kno the car

well im kinda getting dawsons backbox if its not sold by tuesday if i want it or not
thing im confused about on his backbox though is the tip (not the 3"tip) the other end lol where it joins to the pipe it flairs out :S

Agreed. At the end of the day you get what you paid for.

Just make sure there is some decent clearance this time round! Btw, Powerflex do decent exhaust hangars, will should hopefully prevent it from rising up towards the bumper.

the flared bit at the end is for the exhaust clamp to go on, so it slips over your pipe then closes up on it

ahh right lol
i have to clamps on mine as i needed a pipe to join them together :P
anyway i will see how tuesday goes and i prob will buy a new backbox new and shiney for my new rear bumper

3 inch... you could drive up that...more than 3 inch, you get what you pay for... no offence but thats a shitty box... especially if it is melting your bumber.. bit chav/boy racer IMO ;)

u get cheap but ok PROPER FIT boxes on ebay... sportex ones... my mate has one on his 106 n its ok... only bot 100 quid or get a 2nd hand magnex... get rid o that shite tho
