got my car on the pit at work friday night to have a look at my ball joint that i thought had gone, turns out it was the wishbone thatw as loose, so tightened that and its fine.

anyway i noticed a pretty bad oil leak coming from where the cam belt is. i took the cover off and couldnt really see much apart from oil down the side of the block. there is no oil on the pulleys or belt though.

anyone got any ideas what it could be? rep is waiting?

Could it be coming from the rocker cover gasket, very common fault

do you have to change the cam belt once you have taken it off though?

mine was re-done about 1000 miles ago
