another speedo problem

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, but when the car is first started the speedo rises and falls constantly for a minute or so? answers appreciated :y:

sounds like a poor connection to me mate,

remove the clocks and check the connections on the back.

not a quick job mate im affraid, get the Haines manual out and start taking the dash off. it should just be a little plug need pushing back in...its happened to mine but i havnt had a chnace to do it yet.

well the the previous owner put lockwood dials in to it so i guess with him playing around he could have loosened a connection. thanks
