Hi, currently im driving a 1.4 mk2 saxo on 2o00 plate and paying £600 on insurance for TPFT...

But when insuring it was classed as standard..but i have ait filter, alloys, buckets and harnesses...

ive been told on this type of insurance it is not nessecary but ive also been told other wise...

i want to lower aswell..anyone know how much it would affect my insurance? thanks

ur insurance ISNT valid, as you must declare every mod you do to the car!, whether ur third party or fully comp.

cant see it really effecting price tbh

most companies only car about performance mods, but some i guess are different

Ring them and declare everything mate.

Simply because if you are in a crash, you ain't covered. You may also find that they might not allow you to actually modify the car due to the policy as that can sometimes happen.

Good chance they will terminate the cover if you tell them tbh, think about enquiring about the change if you were to do them

As above mate. Get on the phone tomorrow morning. All companies are different but they all want to know about mods, regardless of whether they are cosmetic or performance enhancing.


They WILL refuse to pay out if u crash and they find undeclared mods
