hmmm still none the wiser as to what it could be. Is anything wrong with the car or owt? If not give under the bonnet a sniff checking all fluids and oil levels, check for leaks under the car, if nothing and the car is behaving fine then ignore the fuckersmileys/smiley17.gif

Hasn't the car got a manual that shows all the different lights and symbols, etc? Would be in that i imagine.

Failing that just cover it with some tape. smileys/smiley4.gif

Balls to you then. Why hasn't it got a manual? Why doesn't she just take the car to Renault and ask them?

wouldnt the brakes be checked at the mot ?

SaxoAL

they would be checked if they are still legal.
NOT if they are almost on their way out.
They may advice, saying 'they may need replacing soon'

KAMENi

definitely something about the brakes, so check'em

If the brakes are OK then is probably a faulty brake sensor or something.
