Karl
7th January 2008, 14:18

Jacko
7th January 2008, 14:21

Scattle
7th January 2008, 14:26
don't alot of Irish support liverpool?

Karl
7th January 2008, 14:27
why the fk am i a mug for asking why most irish support man u?

I think its because you implied that Irish only support them for the glory?

Hanuman
7th January 2008, 14:27
not on the same scale of irish supporting man u?, and from the people who i know who have been to oldtrafford say there is quite alot of irish people there

Scattle
7th January 2008, 14:28

laura_g
7th January 2008, 14:29

hellonpluto
7th January 2008, 14:29

Scattle
7th January 2008, 14:31
Like those guys with the turbans that go to EVERY Utd match.

yup lol, famous lol to the right of the dugouts

Hanuman
7th January 2008, 14:32
then again at some point it goes down to glory, otherwise the biggest teams wouldnt have the biggest stadiums minus chelsea (who aint been dominant for long though) and biggest following, ie no one in africa or india china is gonna decide to support middlesbrough for their passion flare and brazilian style i spose

Karl
7th January 2008, 14:41
Agreed with you there Hanuman, but you cant hate Utd, cos they play well?
If Boro' won loads and did for several years Im sure they would have been the Man Utd of today.

Jacko
7th January 2008, 14:45
i f i was new to the whole football ball scene id probs pick united or arsenal to support simply because they play awesome football.

laura_g
7th January 2008, 14:47
i used to then i realised villa seems a more realistic team to support

Karl
7th January 2008, 14:50
What makes any team more realistic to support,
I support United cos my Dad does, no other reason really.

laura_g
7th January 2008, 14:51
because i couldnt go and watch man u whenever they are playin where as villa are just up the way from me

Scattle
7th January 2008, 14:51
good point...tbh get fed up with all this bullshit with you have to support a club that you are close too.

laura_g
7th January 2008, 14:52
no im not sayin that but you cant say you support a team when you never go and watch them play

Karl
7th January 2008, 14:57
Why?
Id rather watch them on my tele with my Utd supporting family getting merry with the booze than get cold, be up in manchester and being £100 out of pocket every weekend.

laura_g
7th January 2008, 14:58
yeah but you warm up with a balti pie mmm lol, nah look peeps i support villa you support man u i aint got nout against it and its up to you at the end of the day who you choose to support

Hanuman
7th January 2008, 14:59
no im not sayin that but you cant say you support a team when you never go and watch them play

why the hell not, if you support the big teams you aint gonna get much of a chance due to season ticket holders, and if you have moved away / dont live near the team you support and cant afford it that doesnt mean you "dont support them because you cant financially go to the stadium every week"

Hanuman
7th January 2008, 15:00
pshhhhhh women and football... just dont go together unless its a womens soccer camp in the YOU ES of A then it might be ok (damn hotties)

Scattle
7th January 2008, 15:00
