hes only 17, no where near the ripe age, my bets are on never makes the big team at newcastle!
its about time newcastle realised they have a perfect little motor lovely alloys fantastic condition, but they dont have the bloody engine! they are a longgggg way off getting into the top 8 standard and its money it doesnt look like they will spend, its a shame really in all honesty

i hate the "undisclosed fees" i think they should have to admit what they are dealing with so fans / people who own parts of the club know where there money is going, cant see anyyyyy reason they dont other than the fact they are hiding a crappy deal due to debt like, 1mil spread over 650months with %%%% per games played.
never used to be all undisclosed. anyone actually know the reason?

you can find all the information on how much your club has payed for a player on their annual season review.
It states how much a player was brought for to the penny.
i know Liverpool have one at the end of season.

But hes also still very young and bar the odd bad game hes pretty much one of the better players on the pitch.
The problem with Newcastle is exactly as a lot of people and pundit have said time and time again, we need stability. I would defy any company to change its managing director every other year or less and produce good results. We as Newcastle fans have to learn to be patient and give the new guy a season or two to get things working the way he knows best. Its hard for someone like big Sam, who has a very particular (if boring) style of football and expect the players to all understand what hes trying to do. Its like trying to fit square pegs into roundholes. IF a player cant adjust, get rid and get someone in who can. That can only happen in the transfer windows so its obviously goingt o take time. In the mean time he has to try and balance working with the players hes already got, working out how they play best, while also trying to mould the team into his style.
The guy has premiership finishes of 8, 7 & 6 in the last three years with Bolton so once he gets the team working right, hes a good consistent manager.
Its also obvious from the Stoke game that the players are starting to get frustrated with each other judging by some of the abuse they were giving each other. That’s not good but perfectly normal for a team on a losing streak with a fanbase as big and impatient as Newcastle demanding instant results.

i think sams good, hes safe,
its going to take time, he cant walk into a club and make miracles happen with the same players, he needs the players he wants full stop.
i think newcastle know this, ifthey are actually upset with how things are going and sams under pressure then they are more stupid then the crappy stories the media print
Andy72

i dont the board/ ashley are upset with him as they have backed him up publically a number of times now. Hopefully they'll stick to that and not let the 52000 season ticket holders bully them in sacking yet another manager so we can start the whole merry go round again

he said he needs 5 years to turn the club around, and thats what it will take! newcastle have been under acheiving for years! they should never have sacked bobby robson, as he is a pool of knowledge, what he didnt know about football isnt worth knowing!!!

martins is shit, and he's scored more goals in one season, than owen has in 3 lol.
i think, all this hype about getting big sam out is shit, give the bloke a chance.
even if they did sack him, who would want to manage newcastle now? lol

I hate Owen. What a complete waste of money hes been. The problem is noone wants to buy him now until they can see he can stay fit, by which point we'll have all grown to like him again as he'll be our top goal scorer, then he'll get poached by another team and leave.
Martins can be superb at times, hes got amazing pace, quick to react but isnt the sort of player that hugs the offside line like owen does.

will be interesting to see how he performs for newcastle when he plays, newcastle have had a string of bad results lately.
