Car is probably way over due a cambelt at 81k lol so going to book that in ASAP. It also needs a service which i could probably do myself however i dont really have the time to do it.
Just wondered on how much it would cost approximately.
Had a quote of £306 inc VAT which seemed very high or is that just me?
Cheers

it is... quite high.. ive got cambelt, new brake pads and lowering springs for a total of, £130 and fitting it all will only cost me 120 quid so a total of £250 plus a service thrown in also tracking and balancing which comes wif lowering.

got another quote which seemed pretty good: -
£120 for complete service - thats tightening everything up etc, brakes - all that stuff
£114 for cambelt kit and tensioner
£35 if water pump also needs replacing
so all in all around £234 with an extra £35 if water pump needs replacing.
Sounds ok dosent it?
