Just wondering.....

I have a saxo 1.1i desire 2001 which doesn't have power steering, or electric windows. my mates seem to think that it's really wierd as it's a 2001 car. is the supposed 2 not have it?

Hmm... I thought all desires had electric windows... And my old R reg 1.1 had PAS!
So yeah, I think that's weird!

i'm not actually 100% sure its a desire either.. when i brought it was advertised as a desire, had the desire sticker on the back under the saxo bit, but when i went to get my insurance quote it comes up as a 1.1 forte?? do they not have power steering at 2001?

I've got a 2004 1.1 desire. I though that all mk2 1.1's came with power steering and electic windows too.

As for the insurance, this happened to me too. When I entered my reg. plate in the insurance website it came up as a 1.1 forte. So I just entered the information in manually.

I know. It really is. I dont think those were optional extras. Have had a quick search around the net and all the 2001 1.1 desires for sale come with the electric windows and the power steering.
