Hey there apparently my temperature sensor has gone as shown by this mornings diagnostics test. i have been told that this is the reason for my engine dying on me and stuttering. not too sure i believe that as my car rarely overheats.
Anyway i was wondering if anyone had bought one and if so how much they cost.
Cheers guys

I think Euro Car Parts will be the cheapest option. Somewhere around £20 - £30 at a guess...

It is the coolant sensor yes, as there's not actually an engine temperature sensor, but it's just AKA such for whatever reason...
EDIT: Why don't you get one from ECP or GSF? They can deliver! :y:

Hmm. Doubt you need the part number... Just say it's for a 106 GTI, and which phase, 1 or 2...

Mine's a mk2, so it might be more thorough to use a chassis number from a mk1. Are they really that anal?
