Well im kinda stuck. Ive got really fed up of my fiesta (after 1 month) and think i want to get rid. I really want to go back to the saxo and get a vtr (previously owned a 1.1). I will now have the money to buy a vtr from the sale of my fiesta. However, my insurance doesn't go down until May and around this time of year its hard to get a car sold.

What does everyone think? Should i sell up and come back to the saxo now or should i wait until my insurance goes down and then get one?
Or Should i wait until i can get a bit more for my fiesta so i have more money to spend on my new car.

help :(

I'd personally wait until the insurance is due for renewal. Makes everything a whole lot easier

dependin on how much your insurance goes up id go for the vtr. i went from a 1.25 fiesta zetec to a vtr. and the vtr is way faster than i expected it to be

nows the best time to sell, never really a bad time tbh, apart from 2 weeks prior to xmas

wait till your insurance goes down otherwise ull get scammed on ur current policy changing to a higher group / not worth cancelling the ammount of months noclaims u currently got

Yea i think the summer time is a good time to sell with people in good moods and looking to buy ha.

I think my insurance company would let me upgrade my insurance. I soppose it is best to wait and save a bit more money etc. Don't want to rush it either.

could save enough up for new alloys & tyres, new break set up (all round :y:) and suspension....will set you off just nicely mate :y:

yea cheerz for the advice people. Out of interest what is the average insurance for a vts? on a 18/19 year old with their own policy.

I got quoted 2100 for a vtr on my own policy with 1 years no claims at 18 fuly comp. But i forgot il be 19 when i renew so it should be cheaper again.
