Is there anyone on here that is insured by direct line and are 18 on there own insurance (VTR)?? Got my misus to ring up as we are with them at the minute on my 1.1 , and to find out how much it would cost to add the VTR or to start another policy with a VTR and they wouldnt quote us. Saying they wouldnt insure anyone under 21 with that size engine. Just wondering if they are lieng?

some company's won't insure you unless your 21, i'm 19 and insured with Quinn on my Vtr.

Only reason i decided direct line is because we are with them already and he dad is insured with them so we would get discount. But they wont not sure who else to try. I will be named driver and the misus Main.

Awesome will get her to phone up as internet quotes suck lol. Will see if they will budge on there prices if i say another company will do better.

Direct Line wouldn't touch me on the STANDARD VTS until I was 25....

At least I can get insured on pretty much any car I want.....you CHAV Chaffe!

they declined me too, theyre not bullshitting never mind mate! do morethan insurance theyre the cheapest about at the moment if u pay in full not monthly.

eh, my mate had a 1.9tdi 130bhp passat for his 1st car at 17 insured ith churchill!

insurers can be pricks when they want to be.(more than usual anyway)
