What do people think of this, you insert into trye and it prevents punctures, blowouts and leaks? Was thinking of getting some as i think i have a slow puncture and thought that this would be good as it would prevent future punctures and loss of tyre pressure? Its fairly cheap of ebay actually. Let me if you have had experience aswell please.

To replace a tyre on your car would be like £35 mate. Just get a new one.
The tyres are the only 4 things that keep you connected to the road. The most important thing on a car is to have top notch tyres.

Agree with Danr.
Also if you are aware you have a slow puncture get it sorted now!
I learnt this mistake when I had a slow puncture kept filling the tyre up every few days untill one day was going round a rounabout doing 50mph and the puncture let go completely, no idea how but i managed to keep control of the car and avoid all the other vehicles on the road, wasnt big or clever!

I think it's just a temporary thing, i.e. if you get a puncture this will seal the tyre until you get home or to a garage for a new one. Also using it means you can't just get a puncture repaired and you'll need a new tyre.

The green sealant isnt the temporary one its suposed to last about a year or so.
There is a temporary one that halfords supply that only lasts till you get home.

Regardless of whether it temporary or not, it doesn't do the tyre any good, as stated above, it weakens the sidewall ultimately leading to a blowout. I work in a garage and we had someone come in a porsche cayenne, the same thing happened, tyre blew out £160 for a new one. Also had someone in a beemer drive about 50miles without knowing they had a blowout. Best to get it sorted and not to rely on that stuff permanently

Only a thought as i knew it was big a few years ago making the tyres run flat etc. Will see ATS on Saturday or a garage for part worns.

Is your puncture on part of the tyre that can't be repaired by a garage?
