hello im new on here

hi im gem and ive just joined this forum, its great, i own a white mk1 vtr on a "r" plate, i realy like the car and have done a few things to it like putting lexus style rear lights and 4 inch outward rolled s/s back box, airfliter ,a few neons, purple neons in the front grill, might get it lowered a bit soon too, i do have a small problem with it though.....it tends to misfire when i pull away??? ive had ecu checked and new plugs and put on a computer but no probs found, ive tried lots to sort it but cant stop it, maybe airflow meter thing?? can anyone help me ???

cant say im too keen on the lights either, but apart from that it all looks good! would look even better lowered ;)

Hope you enjoy it on the site and im sure someone in the designated engine section (i see you've already posted there) can give you some pointers for the misfire problem - Ryan is a good source of info so hopefully he'll pick up on it.

Pretty good start on the car, white is an amazing colour to have when clean and gleaming, not too many white ones about either.

Dont take any comments to heart such as ones about badges etc. Its all about personal preference, you'll soon get to see what the so called 'in trends' are etc though, it is nice to see the odd thing different.

Plenty of cars to look at in the photos section, lots of good ideas about currently

The nice subtle approach is going strong currently.

will get mirror caps and lowered tho, might get some after burner lights when got some money, saying that i might try sellin it in few months then get a vts. who nos?

welcome! smart looking vtr for its age! few things i dont like but ur own taste so not gna moan its your car no0t mine have it how you liek it :D lowerd would be good and u can always take kit off an put on vts if you get one!

I've got a white 'r' plate vtr too lol I've got lexus lights because they were on the car when i bought it. I'm gonna change them soon because i just don't like them. A lot of people will tell you to get rid of them but if you like them then keep them. After all it is your car so do what makes you happy :y:

Wasn't that for sale at the place opposite the skoda garage in high brooms a while back? looked very nice but a bit overpriced.

yeah thats the place, i got it from there before he put a price in the window, i got it for 1,300. couple off months ago he had another one priced at over 2,000. it was exactly the same as mine. strange, where bouts are you then, i live in pembury but my boyfriend lives in rusthall.
