10th January 2008, 00:35
1.2 16v SXi: 0-60mph in 12s, 106mph, 73 bhp. Pretty ordinary for what it is tbh.
1.4 16v SRi: 0-60mph in 10.5s, 111mph, 88 bhp. Nippy enough but no VTR beater.
1.8 16v SRi: 0-60mph in 8.0s, 126mph, 123bhp. The only Quick Corsa C of the 03-06 period, but still not quite a VTS beater. Insurance on these is very competative though, or so I hear...

they sujested finance over 4 years at 157 a month... (intrest of 1k over 4 years so not so bad)
but ill be seeing about going more than 157... say 200 a month so its payed faster and less intrest :)
i make arround 700 a month :) 200 car 150 insurance50 phone and 100 board... so that leaves me with 200 a month for my self...
but i might just leave it at 157 then i have about 240 for my self :)
not so bad...

Same 1.2 16v mate. But insurance group is only 3 and you'll get about 46 mpg combined out of it which is very good, so you'll be laughing about running costs. :y:

Too many people going into debt these days if u ask me.
Gazza, 6200 blah blah on a rubbish car is a waste imo.
You've worked out 157 a month, How much is insurance aswell?
Tbh, whats the point in spending loads on a car like this, when really, you want a VTS thats like a quarter of the price. not even that.
You say you earn 700 a month. Why not just do some hardcore saving up for 3 or 4 months and get a VTR/S ? Instead of paying 200 a month for the next 4 years.
You make some crazy decisions mate, and i dont mean to offend or anything but i think you'll regret it.
And as for holding its value? You must be joking tbh. Your going to have this car for four years. Thats like 10k a year mileage atleast... so it will be on about 40/50k when you sell it? Your expecting to get 6k back? :S
Seriously think you need to re-think this mate.

those corsa's are ok, nice interior and comfy, but just feel boring and dont feel like they got any life!
If i was spending as much as you were I'd get a vts, you could get a vts for about £2-3k and you've still got £2-3k for insurance.
Just think of the smile you will have on your face when you're driving along and the respect for having a vts :D

yeh they are nice the irmscher styled corsa's
if im totaly honest i would have got one a year or two older but either a 1.4 or 1.8 prefrebly sri alot quicker and alot of them came irmscher syled, colour coded, the sri allors are gorgeous, all youd need to do is lower and irmscher grill if it didnt have one! insurance isnt too bad on tehm either ther only a group 6 and 9 lol! an the 1.8 is 138bhp standard an theyre quite cheap to buy ;)
but its a very tidy motor u got their to buy from a main dealer! whats your plans for it?

same engine as the astra sri 130 which is 138 bhp! and i know irmscher is the styling ! but they come already irmscher styled! well alot of them do and you pay way ott for them!
irmscher also release a pre styled range within each model of vauxhall!
