How do you set up your account so the money goes straight out your account and to the other person. Without waiting for like 9 days for it to clear?
I've set mine up but it takes 9 days for it to clear :\
I know theres a way you can do it so it just goes straight out your bank account and into their paypal. Anyone know how?

Add a credit card as a back up of funding, then your payments are instant

Trying to remember how I did it. Pretty sure you have to get your account verified. Paypal take a few pence out of your account and then you get back to them and tell them how much it was.
More info here. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/acc/seal-CA-unconfirmed-outside

Thanks andy, Any way around it without having a credit card? Because i'm never going to get one. Too scared of the things :p

The only way you can make your payments instant is by adding a credit card otherwise there sent as eCheques.

Done abit of searching and found this:
Question : Can I use my UK bank account to make Instant Bank Transfer and eCheque payments?
Answer :
A Yes. UK members who register a UK bank account denominated in Pounds Sterling can complete bank funding on their UK bank accounts and make Instant Bank Transfer and eCheque payments. Once you have completed bank funding, simply select Instant Bank Transfer or eCheque as your payment method when you send money.
Here's how:
1. Click the Send Money tab
2. Enter the required information.
3. Click Continue
4. Click the More Funding Options link.
5. Select the Instant Bank Transfer or eCheque button.
6. Click Continue
7. Review the information and click Send Money to complete your transaction
Problem solved :y:

Like grantw said link your debit card. That must be how it enables instant payment's. A visa electron should be enough to do it.

From messing about with it i think you need to verify your address. Where they ring your house number and that.
Going to do it tomorrow as i dont fancy waking up parents and especially my brother lol.
Cheers for post and pm ;)
