Turned my car off yesturday and back on again, and the power stearing had gone and the heaters wouldn't come on...

Felt the powerstearing fluid pipe and it felt soft.. like nothing was getting through... how do i check for a blockage??

and is there fuses for both the heater and the powerstearing??

what else could it be....

I've had my car for 6months, getting hevily in the moddifying and the cars just a bag of problems, and it's only done 45k miles W reg.... :@:@:@:@

its a common fault with the saxo , mine has done this 3 times before!

its a fault with the wiring near the ignition, take it to an auto electrician an they will re-wire it for bout £40-50!

the power steering, blowers and rear heated windscreen wont work!

since ive had mine re-wired it hasnt done it again!

I know I'm little late ere, but would like to add that the longer the prob is left the more likely it could cause a backfire and melt the iginition - that is if it is a wiring fault which it sounds to be. I also ave a W reg saxo and this happened to me to after modding my car, it cost me £339 in Citroen garage to ave new ignition switch, matching keys and re-wiring, so far the fault hasn't appeared again but it's only been a couple of weeks
