I'd recommend the SPAX VSX kit I think it is?

That's the one I think Damo had on the VTS. I thought the Furio was going?

I thought I heard bad things about Spax? Or it may be another company I'm unsure!

And it was, but... I may be going independant with the girlfriend, so the Euro project continues. Already been to the bodyshop for quotes etc, got quotes for fitting susp and getting rear spacers reduced. But sshhh. :P

Spax are good kits so I am told, been in a few cars and they are generally good - depends how you set the ride I suppose mate.

As for the GMAX, AVOID it big time. Craig had it on the VTR, was such a shit ride.

As people above have said don't get Gmax, i have it on my car currently and i don't think it looks anywhere near 55mm. Im just waiting to have my spax springs fitted as everyone has said good things about them. I opted for the 60mm kit so if i have them on before you ill let you know how i get on.

i'm going to go against the trend here and be a vote against spax.

60mm budget suspension is not going to give a good ride. what is your budget and could you libe with 50mm? as there are quality options for that.

I have other things I'm saving for at the moment, so I could maybe say 200-300 at a push. Don't really want to spend to much, just want it to look nice. Don't want performance, it's going to be a Euro car so anything that sits nice, with some stiff shocks would be good.

i was using koni adjustables on my vts which was about 55-60mm pretty good handeling and easy over the bumper, dont know what springs but im sure spax springs will be fine, its the damers that are rough.

personaly tho like ive done i would have to recommend coilovers, i built my own and prob about -75mm and its sweet, not driven it yet tho lol.

well talking of 55-60 the only springs i know is spax pi and gmax and out of the 3 spax is the best. but as kam said if you can live with 50 theres some great kits/springs.
