Hi all..
As some of you have heard, The saxo is coming back, very soon :)
Its not going to be a Track car for the time being, its going to be my main car again, with a Rear Disc Conversion and a VTR Lump over the Furio lump..

Anyway...

Do I use Standard mirrors (They have Caps, but they aren't removable so hard to spray), Or the DTM ones i have?
The only thing I don't like about the DTM ones are that the Base Plates Stick out quite far, so the inside of them can be seen from inside the car which doesn't look too great...

The Doors are De-Locked and De-Pinned...
Does Central locking work from the boot lock?
If so, Would it pay to keep the boot lock just incase of Battery failure in the Alarm remote? Or would there be another way in (I'm assuming not..)

Should i go for a Sunstrip?
I was thinking Black Sunstrip, with Saxperience across it in Orange?

When my Morettes Arrive from John, and i replace one of the covers, Should I spray them Black, to go with the Black Wheels and windows?

Are there any other generally simple but effective mods anyone can recommend? and are there any decent ways of changing internal Panels to Black, aswell as the Roof Lining and Carpets?

Rep up for grabs!
Cheers
David

Id use standard mirrors, dont like DTM's at all, look like gimpy arms, kind of lol!

Id keep the boot lock, just incase anything goes wrong you can still get in the car then.

Get a photoshop done with the black morettes and orange bodywork, it might work, it might look wank, personally id get them orange.

Carpet you can get out a mk2 vtr, these are black. headlining can only be dyed black i think.

Standard mirrors all the way:y:

Keep the boot lock as at least you can still get into the car if you have depinned the doors and the central locking fails

debadging + dewipering the tailgate are great, cheap and effective mods to do to get the smooth look. Would'nt go for a sunstrip tbh but I think morettes sprayed black would look good but get a photoshop done first to make sure:y:

Stadard mirror , keep the boot lock , colour the morettes to match the rest of the car and don't put a sunstrip on .

Cheap mods short the arial or take it off and smooth over , debadge the rear or just paint them black , dewiper the rear , smoked side reps , colour code the bumper strips .

There are alot more cheap stuff you can do but thats all i can thik of at the mo' .
